Beijing +15

2010 celebrates the Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing in September 1995, the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. There the government’s committed to implementation of the Platform for Action. The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 54) will review its implementation in March 2010.

Where you present at Beijing?  If so, why not share your  experience with me.

The follow up to Bejing is most important….
I wonder if each regional Cirlce of leadership and each Unit JP Contact could be asked to begin now to select a representative so that GS has great international representation –
And, as folks are identified to represent the region or unit, they could be given, rom the IJPC office specific preparation material and help setting up their own goals to make the expeince worthwhile when they bring it back home…

Dreaming.. that we can participate in changing systems and structures that oppress women.
