Trafficking in Persons Report 2009
“The ninth annual Trafficking in Persons Report sheds light on the faces of modern-day slavery and on new facets of this global problem. The human trafficking phenomenon affects virtually every country, including the United States. In acknowledging America’s own struggle with modern-day slavery and slavery-related practices, we offer partnership. We call on every government to join us in working to build consensus and leverage resources to eliminate all forms of human trafficking.”
–Secretary Clinton, June 16, 2009

it is really good and it helps a lot.
This report has some political biases of the USA but it still contains very usefull country by country information which can help local projects analyze their situation and prepare strategies for their work.
Also, remember, YOU can send your grassroots information to the report – make GS voice heard.
clare
Thanks Clare for the comment. I was not aware of being able to send grassroots information to the report. Maybe you could elaborate a little more on this. It would be useful information for all Good Shepherd networks.
